Despite Notions to the Contrary....I am Painting

Hello all!

I'm back with even more progress on my armies.  I even have a project completed which I'm super happy about.  See as how it's been sitting unpainted for 10+ years I'd say that's an accomplishment.

Anyway, enough talk, lets get to showing!  I managed to finish up the last 3 Mercenary Swordsmen in my army.

With these three done, and my movement tray completed, I now have a full mercenary detachment done!

My Averland Mercenaries are all painted up and ready for the table.  Of all the units sitting unpainted, this is the one I thought I'd never finish.  But here it is ready for the fight!

But that's not all...

Five more Dark Elf spearmen!  Just 5 more to go and the unit is done and I can move on to other unpainted things for my Dark Elves.

So with 8 models done I'm off to do more!

First Months Work....What did I paint?

Hello all!

So I'm back, sooner than many of you have probably thought.  Unlike months prior, I have things to show off.  I've been making progress on a few projects and I figured I'd show them to you.  So without further ado...

Five Dark Elf Warrior Spearmen!  Now I continued with my Dark Elf paint scheme and these guys came out lovely.  The shields were all cast in Greenstuff as I don't have enough spare shields to go with the remaining troops I have.  With these guys done that leaves 10 more left to finish the unit.  So excited to finally finish another unit!

Hey, speaking of working to finish a unit...

Four Empire Swordmen!  Well, mercenary swordsmen to be exact.  I plan on using these guys as a detachment for my "Mercenary" army.  With the three I already painted that just leaves three more!

Now for a palate cleanser...

One Kings of War, Nightstalker butcher!  I have a box of Nightstalkers I bought on discount and I always wanted to paint them.  So I figured now's as good as any so here he is!  Done!

So 10 models done at the start of the year, not too shabby!
