Next up, something I bought from a local 3D printer...
So if I calculate all the parts on these models as separate minis it comes to 10 models down. Not too shabby if I do say so myself!
Now off to work on my next project!

Hello once again all to my Yearly wrap-up!
So its that time of year again where I show off all the last models I panted this year and tally up my total.
Which, I'm going to be honest, was not much....
Seems in the last half of the year I just zonked out and was not motivated to paint at all. I did man age a few things, but overall not much. So lets take a look at the Things I did finish up.
Hello all!
Well I'm back again with more to share. I know I only tend to monthly updates but lets break the trend! Lets make NEW trends! Lets show off what I managed to paint...
The Mines of Moria Terrain set!
Now, I had already painted and showed off a few of these minis already. Specifically the door and the trapdoor as well as one of the dead scatter dwarfs. Now I painted the pillars, well, tomb and more scatter dwarfs!
This set is one I bought used online so its actually missing one of the scatter pieces but that's no biggy. If I want to do the LOTR scenario, I don't really need it. In fact, I am so close to having everything I need to do the Mines of Moria scenario...we'll just have to wait and see!
Next up!
40k Terrain! Okay, technically 3rd party 3d printed terrain for generic space game. But I intend to use these for a Kill Team board in the future. Just need to get more buildings to fill a board.
And with that done its time to work on more stuff...
Stay Tuned!

Hello once again!
So end of the month and time to look at what I managed to get done. Granted, due to some sickness and general real life getting in the way...not as much as I would have liked. HOWEVER! I still got stuff done so lets take a look!
3 Osgiliath Veterans! I know, I haven't painted any Lord of the Rings models in a good long while. But I had bought these and decided to just get them done ASAP. So, here they are!
Now for an update on my Empire army...
These are my Knights I would have painted back in 2005, when I had just started getting into Warhammer. Honestly, these were a pretty simplistically done and not super great but were a good base coat. Now however...
My Arc Knights of Averland! Beyond the banner it was all mostly just washes and highlights. Its kinda tough to Highlight metal but I did my best and here we are.
So in total I managed to paint/repaint 12 models. Not much but a great start!

Hello once again all!
So I had initially planned on posting this update back in February...heck I even started to with the title! But I got distracted....mostly due to travel. However in the proceeding months I managed to get a bunch of painting done. So while I was quiet, I was not Idle!
So without further ado....
One Griffon Mech for Battletech!. I actually have a small pile of Battletech minis I want to get done. This one is my test scheme for the Crescent Hawks. It came out okay mostly, I had an issue with the base coating from a white primer I was using to Zenithal the model with. Probably wont use that spray bottle again, but I was able to strip it and start over. Hopefully my next mech wont be as bad.
One piece of Warcry Terrain! I had bought this as a separate sprue online almost 2 years ago and I figured I'd just get it done. Painted entirely with craft paint and homemade wash. Very happy with how it came out...even though I lost a piece and had to make one to replace it (Maybe you can tell which piece I lost!).
5 Oathmark Skeletons! I most bought a sprue on a whim and decided I didn't want to add to my pile so I built and painted them right away. They are good models but they are a little spindly so be careful when gluing them together! But fun and easy to paint, do recommend!
So now next up...
More terrain! This time Warcry Terrain I had bought. Luckily people split up the box and sell individual sprues so you don't have to splurge on the whole thing. This one tree is good scatter terrain for pretty much any game. I have a few more sprues from Warcry sets, one of which I am assembling now but will probably be a bit before I get to it.
Next up!
Dark Elf Spearmen! I did these guys mostly as test models and I like how they came out so I will have to work on getting a whole 25 man unit done now. The scheme is pretty easy and quick...relatively. Although I will admit whenever I first paint models it tends to go slow. Anything after this should be a breeze!
Well all in all 8 models....although one should really count as at least 10....oh well!
Until Next!

Hello all!
I'm back once again to show off some stuff I managed to paint. Not very much, in fact technically only one model. It was pretty big however so I figured I'd go over how I got it painted.
I bought this House at a Comic-con last year and decided to get it all painted up! First step was to base coat it black and paint all the wood trim with a light brown.
After the trim I proceeded to paint all the Stone a dark grey. Mostly the floor and chimney.
Next up I painted the roof tiles a light blue to match all the other buildings in my little village I am building.
Next step I gave the whole thing a layer of my homemade Black Wash to darken the colours and give depth to the mini.
I then proceeded to drybrush a very light brown over all the wood to bring out the wood grain.
Next step was to do the same with the stone by using a light grey to make that pop as well.
Then perhaps the longest and most annoying step. I had to go in and paint the walls a beige colour to show off the plastered walls and cracks.
Once that was done the last steps involved giving the whole thing a light dry brush of beige for the weathering. As well as painting all the metal bits as well as the window panes.
And there it is! One House complete! It came out great and matches all my other houses as well. Whats next? Well we shall wait and see!
